It appears that Hurricane Irma has affected the Nielsen data processing center in Florida. TV ratings will be delayed – just in time for the start of the NFL season. One would assume that the radio data will be affected as well since the radio data is processed in Florida as well. No official word from Nielsen on that just yet.
It appears that Nielsen will release the Houston Weekly data on time, even after Hurricane Harvey. They are satisfied with the integrity of the sample and InTab. I am certain that they are going to have to look at the sample in Miami – Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Naples and possibly other markets.
